prop 8 protest march in west hollywood.


what bothers me the most about all of this [aside from the fact that prop 8 has indeed, PASSED], is that nobody has any idea what will happen to the thousands and thousands of california couples who have gotten married in the past 6 months.
some say the new ban is retroactive and will nullify all of these LEGAL marriages [fuck you.], while others say that these marriages cannot be overturned, as they were performed during a time when same-sex marriage was part of California constitution and it would just be absurd to turn around and revoke them all.
how can you not have thought about this??
MAYBE if you weren't so busy coming up with the most RIDICULOUS Yes On 8 campaign, you would have had time to get your heads out of your asses to think about the implications this proposition would have on your state's recently married.
